Working as a bioinformatics analyst means sifting through massive datasets from fields as varied as genomics and cellular and molecular biology. You’ll investigate disease pathology and aid in the design of experiments and algorithms to find treatments. It’s not possible to enter the field of bioinformatics analysis with just a high school diploma or GED.
